StorySmith stands as a vessel of Tangata Moana values—weaving the wisdom of the Pacific with the art of preservation. Rooted in the convergence of Samoan and New Zealand European lineages, we honour the tūpuna (ancestors), serve the whānau (family), and protect the legacy for mokopuna (descendants) seven generations ahead. We operate from a place of mana (dignity) and hau (life force), ensuring that what we create enhances the collective.

A story is a space of vulnerability and connection. We are the guardians of that space, ensuring every interaction is designed to protect the mana (dignity) of the storyteller. Your trust is our most precious currency.

2. Empowerment in the Process (Utu Tūturu - Reciprocity)

Our technology exists to empower, not to extract. We measure our success by the capability we build in others. This is a partnership where your investment of time and vulnerability is met with our deepest commitment to honouring your story.

3. Sovereignty in the Story (Mana Motuhake - Your Data)

"Your story is yours. Completely. Forever."

The data generated in a conversation is a sacred story belonging to you. You are the sole owner. You have the right to delete your data at any time, permanently and without question. Your stories will never be sold, shared, or used for AI training. Ever.

What We NEVER Do:

  • ❌Use your data for AI training.
  • ❌Create "AI clones" or simulate a person after they're gone.
  • ❌Build solutions that exploit vulnerability or create dependency.
  • ❌Prioritise profit over the wellbeing and dignity of people.

  • ✅Protect your privacy and sovereignty as fundamental rights.
  • ✅Honour cultural protocols and dignity in every interaction.
